iPhone 7 - Keeps Freezing!!!

I have had my Iphone 7 for less than a year and have random issues with it. Sometimes my phone freezes up and won’t let me open any of my apps. Sometimes my iPhone says I have 4 bars but nothing loads(safari, instagram, Snapchat, etc) and I reset my phone and it fixes the problem. I honestly think that with my phone not even a year old I should not have these problems!!

My iPhone 7 will freeze several times a day. I'll lock my phone, whenever I try to get back in my phone. It won't let me. I have to reset my brand new iPhone at least twice a day because of the freezing.

I’m facing the same kind of issue with my iPhone 7+.

While sliding from left to right on widget screen and also while scrolling up and down on widget screen my display is getting hung.

I’ve tried restarting my phone many times to solve this problem but it did not work and I’m facing the same problem constantly 😑

Even I’m facing the issue my battery. It’s getting draining very fast like I have to charge my phone 2-3 times per day.

I hope Apple can help me to solve this problem asap.

This has been happening to me for a while now, both the phone freezing and the black camera. The freezing just happened again whilst on messaging sometimes it lasts a second or it lasts minutes and still have no idea why it’s doing it. It’s up to date software wise. I thought it might have been a software update because it started just after one. But since then IOS has updated further and it still continues. Usually you can unfreeze it with the power button if it’s a minor freeze but the last was more of a neither Home nor power was responding for a good 5 minutes, neither was the slide down from the top but it was weird it was still letting me touch the keyboard ⌨ and nothing else.

Even my battery has started draining a lot quicker. Sometimes it barely lasts the day like normal. :/ not sure if it’s becayse the phones a year and a bit old now. But if it gets any worse I don’t think I’ll be sticking with Apple much longer.

Me2 my iphone 7 plus 256gb crashes a lot, normally i was a true believer in apple product.

But i have this phone almost a year. And it is almost 2 or 3 times a weak that it freeze. On that moment i can’t do anything with it..... for more dan 2 min.

On that reason, i don’t promot iphone any more to other people 😢.

it’s really said that it isn’t working properly, for all that money to buy a phone that crashes a lot. 😩

Same things happens to me

Mine also has been freezing... I notice it mostly happening when I connect my lightning port headphone... have to hard reset everytime. Contacted support and they naturally wanted me to wipe phone and restart as a new phone.. regardless It seems like i shouldn't already be doing this after 2 weeks...

I Don't think this is some kind of massive conspiracy... Things happen in life and things break. 8 doubt Apple would risk their well known reputation for attent to detail just to rush a bunch of phones out that they know will come back. This sounds like a Donald Trump way of thinking lol

You were straight up lied to... lol they are very well aware of it. I called them last week and was on phone over an HR with 3 diff technicians... only had the phone a week and I raised **** that I was already needing to restore to factory settings and re-set my **** phone up and that was "just to see" if it quit freezing... I didn't go down quietly. I don't see how they can't have the phone logs sent to them (like they have before)... wouldn't that show all the phones processes and each "freeze" causing event?! They know how widespread this is.. make no mistake lol They aren't waiting on nothing from us..,

I've had same freezing and glitches, done reset 10 times, reset from iTunes, still the same. Everyone who had a 7 has the same problems. Took it to the Genius Bar they gave me a new handset, not reconditioned, but still the same freezing mainly in contacts.... I am so annoyed with it I've gone back to my iPhone 6.

I have the same problem. I am about ready to go back down to the 6s. It is really frustrating. I am going to the genius bar tomorrow and will ask if they have had any complaints or know if any issues.

I've been having this issue too! I've reach out to different apple workers and none of it has worked. Let me know what you do. I'm thinking about going to the genius bar.

Does your maps work? mine doesn't have location services.

The tech at the Genius Bar went through my phone and found nothing wrong except for apps. Some apps were corrupted and was causing the software to freeze. I had to reset my phone and set my iCloud up as new :/ I have had to manually download most apps and lost a lot of contacts and photos but my phone quit freezing!

Had issues like this with my iPhone 6+. Finally had enough and got the iPhone 7+. It was better for a day or two, but actually I am back to the same old issues. Facebook: freezes. Safarai: freezes. Mail: freezes.

Sometimes I can't even get out of a screen or double-tapping the home button does nothing. I can't even make a call. Or turn down the volume if something is playing. Really awful.

I have the 256GB model with half of it empty. Not acceptable really.

I'm having the same experience. The phone app started freezing in my iPhone 6 starting 2 updates ago, but I purchased an iPhone 7 and thought it would disappear but did not. The person who now has my old iPhone 6 does not have the problem, thus leading me to believe it is software. I hoped the next update would clear it up, but it has not. I'm up to date 10.2.1 and it seems to be getting more frequent.

IN ADDITION: Not associated with the freezing, it heats up to hot if I speak longer than 15+ minutes.
