No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service. Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone. Tried same sim in another phone and it works. Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue. Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh. Any ideas?

Following up: iPhone 7+ 128 Verizon. NYC area.

New Waze update for iOS didn't resolve the glitch when VoLTE was on. Phone went to no service as previously mentioned. The one thing I do notice, when in no service, when you're in settings main screen, where it has shortcuts for cellular wifi etc. there is no option to manually select a network. I know in the past on my 6+ on Verizon if I legitly lost service for being In the middle of the woods upstate ny, the network selection option showed. I haven't traveled yet with my 7 to verify if this is a removed feature or part of the bug. I Don't think the phone even knows it's in no service

Just a follow up. I picked up my 3rd 7+ on Sunday. No problems all week (so far).

I've been in dead zones where both my 7+ and 6+ dropped to no service, and it came back right away when back in signal area. In fact the 7+ came back faster than the 6+.

So maybe the 3rd one doesn't have the issue?

One thing I did do different this time around. I did NOT restore from backup. I don't really know what all Apple sweeps up in a backup, but it took 1-4 hours to accomplish on my first 2 7+'s. This does not count restoring actual apps. I've had this same backup set going back to my 4. So I thought, lets try a clean setup and see what happens.

So far so good.

Now...BluTooth to my car? Completely destroyed and unusable now... 😟

Same problem with my Verizon iPhone 7 128 GB in Silver.

Keeps dropping to "No Service" any time signal is now and only way to bring it back is to re-boot the phone. It doesn't help that I live in an area with 1 to 2 bars of service and I rely on WiFi Calling when at home. I Turn on Waze to download directions when I leave the house and then No Service as soon as I drive down my street and onto the highway. No Service and NO GPS.

Experienced the same issue while playing Pokemon Go.

My iPhone 6 running iOs 10.0.2 did not have any of these issues. My iPad Air running iOs 10.0.2 also on Verizon has been consistently been 1 or 2 bars stronger in many areas. The iPad maintains service while No Service continues to show in my new iPhone 7.

I swapped out the SIM card with the one that was in my iPhone 6 and am hoping for the best.

Well an update... I updated to 10.1 public beta 2 with it in it's not working mode and it activated and is working again. Some symptoms when this happens, my phone number is no longer displayed at the top of the contacts, imessage still works on wifi, settings, about Network shows None, ICCC will say no sim but when I eject the sim it will have the No Sim popup. Right now it's working. If I did not know better it seems more like an activation/sim rejection error.

I'm having the exact same issue! its frustrating my girlfriend is pregnant and we're expecting any day and I can't even get 90% of her phone calls! Way to drop the ball apple! Hope this is fixed sooner than later! Also the not so irritating issue when using head phones no matter what blue tooth or with the lightning adapter the music keeps liking to pause on its own which I also read is a problem multiple people have been getting. Any apple representatives want to inform us if this is going to be an update or is it going to be a recall issue and how soon are we looking at getting these issues fixed?

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, Apple Support does not regularly read these boards, so if you're also having this problem, it would be really helpful to call AppleCare and report the problem. I've had this since day one and have been working with an AppleCare Level Two support rep who has "taken ownership" of the case (but no solutions yet). Giving them a phone call will assure they know how serious/prevalent the problem is. I was offered a phone swap, but I'm going to wait until the next software update to see if that resolves the problem. Many people have already reported phone swaps and still have the issue.
