No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service. Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone. Tried same sim in another phone and it works. Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue. Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh. Any ideas?

Sadly, I have had this issue since Day One. I am on my 3rd iPhone 7+ (or my second replacement I guess) and I am still having the issue. I have had 2 different SIM cards from Verizon, also did a network reset as well as a clean install (that is, I lost all my health data, iMessages ,etc) and I still have the dropped GPS then "no service" problem. I've spoken with AppleCare multiple times and they have no idea -- they said call Verizon.

I read on another message board that someone installed 10.1 beta and it worked. If that doesn't work, I may just downgrade my phone back to the 6S+. I had zero problems with my older phone . . . .

I fixed the GPS dropped coverage issue on my iPhone 7 with Verizon

I needed to just reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Be careful NOT to "Erase All Content and Settings"

The "Reset All Settings" keeps all your apps, chat history etc. It erases all your phone settings

I drove over 200 miles over last three days without any dropped coverage. GPS works great

I have voice & data for LTE, no problem. iPhone 7 with Verizon with iOS 10.0.2. Hallelujah - what a pain till now

For what it's worth, I spent bunch of time with Apple tech support earlier this week. They said there's no GPS dropped coverage issue with the iPhone 7, but many users have dropped coverage because of legacy settings. It's an issue for users that restore from backup when setting up new phone

Just an update to my last post. The new third IPhone 7 I have with AT&T (GSM only, Intel modem) has continued to work fine for 10 days now. I have deliberately left it on the iOS 10.0 system that it had out of the box, I did not update to 10.0.2 when it tried to. I still do not know if the no service issue was due to 2 phones in a row with bad hardware, or is caused by a bug in 10.0.2. I am not willing to update and try it, and risk killing my phone service again.

I Wish Apple would make a clear statement about what is causing all this and what will fix it.

CAN some one from Apple please acknowledge and reply to this support thread, even if it is just to say, here is what we know and are working on?

They will never post here and will not acknowledge the problem..at least not until there's a fix. But I know from experience that they do monitor some of these threads because I was contacted by a tech to capture logs when I had Wifi problems with my iPhone 6. I had been posting in another very long thread then.

I have a similar data point in all this. I got my hands on a new, unlocked iPhone 7 A1660 Model. It was not from a Verizon store, though, but a reseller. I moved my Verizon sim over to this other phone. I did NOT restore from backup, I just manually installed most of the apps and reconfigured things as a new phone. I left Voice and Data over LTE on. It has iOS 10.0.1 with Verizon 25.1. I did NOT upgrade it to 10.0.2. The phone has been steady on LTE and hasn't dropped to 3G, 1x or No Signal for two days, with constant GPS usage (Pokémon Go). In areas of weak signal, it will drop to 1 dot/bar, but does not lose LTE. So far so good.

There are a lot of variables here, so not sure what it means.

Editing to add...I just noticed that this newer phone does the hissing though. Sigh...can't win.

It's not just Verizon with this problem. I have AT&T and I just got my Rose Gold 7 plus. I've had the phone a week and it's already saying no service. I've done everything I can to keep the phone running but as of now, I'm red hot and I'm not happy! I've had iphones since I turned 16 and I'm now 20 and in my second year of college. I've been waiting on the 7 plus for so long and I can't go through my day knowing that my phone has no service. I'm going to the Apple Store after work, today, in hopes that they can help me somehow.
