No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service. Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone. Tried same sim in another phone and it works. Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue. Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh. Any ideas?

I am also having this problem...signal drops to 3G or No Signal randomly. GPS connection is lost. I'm also seeing a problem similar to the "Airplane Mode" issue, in that when I lose connection, it will sometimes come back, but the data connection is dead, despite the phone saying it's back on 3G or LTE. A phone reset will resolve it, but that is clearly NOT a solution.

THis is a Verizon iPhone 7 128GB with 10.0.2.

I will try some of the temporary fixes mentioned here. BTW, the Apple geniuses will rarely or never admit that they are aware of a problem. I think it's a company policy. I had initial wifi connection problems with my iPhone 6 and while waiting in the store to speak with a tech, I overheard a customer before me describing the same problem I had. I got the same tech and when I described the exact same issue, he looked me in the face and said he'd never heard of the issue.

Hey y'all. TL;DR.. It seems to be software-related.

Just upgraded to 10.0.2 and got this issue immediately. Glad im not crazy and other people are having the same issue. When I went to Apple store they said a few other people had come in w the same issue too. Hopefully Verizon/Apple get their act together soon. Those of you w 7/7+ are honestly kind of stuck bc there's no previous iOS version to revert to (preloaded w iOS 10).

I got my replacement phone yesterday.

It's actually worse. At least with my first 7+ it worked for 3 days until I put it in Airplane Mode. Then my problems began.

The new one was fine last night but this morning "No Service".

I played with it on the way to work, stopping under a cell tower at 5 bars on my 6+ and power cycling the 7+, it came back and connected. At one point the 6+ had 5 bars and the 7+ had 1... then "No Service".

It came and went all the way to work, an hour drive in traffic this morning.

At the office it dropped to 1 bar LTE in the elevator and when I came out, went to No Service, while the 6+ went from AT&T 4G (which is really 3G), back to 4-5 bars LTE.

By the time I got to my desk the 7+ did come back.

On my way in I had turned off Voice over LTE and Location Services just to see if that had any effect.

While sitting at my cube, 4 bars LTE on both phones, the 7+ suddenly switched to "No Service" again and nothing I did would make it come back, except power cycling. While it connects after a power cycle, it eventually drops to "No Service" again. Just sitting still in a 4-5 bar service area. 😟

Apple seems to have really screwed the pooch with this and I'm not pleased. I'm paying for a very expensive iPod basically. It's not a cellular device in any reliable sense.

I have the same issue, I have noticed that it only happens when I am using the WAZE app. Today I tried using the WAZE app without any guidance and I did not lose service. I am going to try this on the way home, but it appears (at least on my iphone 7 plus) that I only lose service when using WAZE and it is providing me with navigation. Hopefully there is a quick fix. I have tried all of the other recommended "fixes" removed sim card, reset network settings, rebooted...they are all temp fixes.

Further experimenting...

with both voice over lte off and location services off, when it drops to no service it tends to eventually come back.

However.... despite saying 4-5 bars of LTE I cannot actually use any data. Safari just spins for example. After a few minutes of this it realizes nothing is happening and back to 'no service' we go!

Also interesting, the last time I came off the elevator it went to 5 bars of AT&T service, no LTE, no 4G /3G, just AT&T. Maybe this is just a non-data connection? When I tried to hit a web page with Safari it told me right away, no internet connection. After a few minutes of this it popped to LTE but then just spins when I try to use the connection.

in short, it's a mess. And I'm on AT&T though it seems most people here are on Verizon. 2nd phone.... hesitant to get another, but on the other hand, this one isn't usable at all. And there must be some reason Apple is swapping them without hesitation.

Same trouble...att user in Maryland...iphone 7, 256G. att guy felt it was hardware

issue with antenna, said others have had same complaint. Apple genius bar

guy was all about software & cell towers. Upgraded my software. Didn't fix it.

Apple Store offered to switch me to a new 7, I decided to return the phone instead

on the 14 day warranty. Very glad I did, now that I have read others' accounts

of a 2nd phone also having same trouble.

I write this from my trusty 5s, which is now back from retirement!

See my earlier post -- two posts up. Same problem with new phone (iPhone 7+). Did clean install and problem was still there. There with Waze and without. Made Cellular Data Option for Enable LTE to be "Data". Improved but the reception is still weaker and not the way it should be - or the way it was with my old iPhone 6. Needs a fix. Given that some people seem to have good luck with new phones, wondering whether that would be worth trying (again!).

Update from earlier. I said earlier when using waze for navigation I would get No Service, but I tested it multiple times, when I use waze without the navigation turned on I never got no service. This would tell me it has something to do with using the gps. I hope that is a software fix as I have tried rebooting, popping out the SIM card and resetting my network settings. others ease try this and see if the same thing happens. I have a black 7 plus with Verizon
