Notes keeps crashing in Sierra. Please help!

Hi, I'm having similar problems after updating to Sierra on my iMac. Did this fix solve the problem for you? I don't have access to my mac right now and am unclear where this setting is? The Soho Notes app crashes before I can get to any settings. I do get a dialog box about whether or not to return to the windows I had open at the original crash but neither option gets me into the app.

Sorry, my problem is with Soho Notes. I don't think it is iCloud related but the vendor is being slow to respond to support requests. I may be looking for a way to transfer my data from the iOS version of the app to Notes soon...

I have the same issue on Sierra 10.12.4, and the cloud trick does noting, still crashing after approx 5 sec. NOT SOLVED:

I want to add something here. For me the problem was a third party email account that had Notes checked inside System Preferences -> Internet Accounts.
