siri on mac has the wrong person as "my info"

I have always had my card set but it still it gave the incorrect info, cured the wrong person bit by signing out of iCloud and deleting all info resigning back in choosing my card again but even though my birthday says 31st on my card still comes up with Siri as the 30th on my iPhone it works correctly very strange.

Thanks for all the info in this thread. I was puzzled as well - going so far as deleting my contact, reinstalling macOS Sierra, disabling iCloud, toggling off and on Contacts. Turns out, it was using a contact card from my Google account (??), even though I only had "Calendar" selected in my Google account. I deleted Google from my list of Internet Accounts (as well as some others), and now it is FINALLY using the new card I created under iCloud. It's weird that it'd be giving so much priority to my Google account over my iCloud account, especially since I don't even have it enabled.

Now I must figure out why the high-quality voice won't download. She still sounds like a robot, and it's been a week since I installed and re-installed macOS Sierra.

Same problem here. Siri using my husband's contact card. I have verified I am admin on mac, Contacts has MY CARD properly tagged, I even deleted his card. Siri still calls me by his name. HUGE BUG!!!

When you say you signed out of iCloud and deleted all info, what does that mean? Siri calls me by my husband's name and I've been trying to fix for hours!

GO to Apple Menu->System Preferences->Accounts, and get rid of all accounts besides iCloud ( you can add them back later). You can also try turning off Contacts under iCloud, waiting for a bit, and turning this back on. Then you may want to restart. This resolved my issue - i believe it was pulling old contact info from my Google account, even though Contacts under the Google account were disabled. Hope this helps - let us know.

FIXED!!!! Signing out of everything then rebooting and adding accounts one at a time worked. EVERYTHING must go until Siri says "I don't know who you are but you can tell me." Then reboot and start adding accounts, asking your name after each to be sure THAT isn't the account causing the issue! Fantastic Apple community!

Don't forget you may the the other person as an identity in another application, such as FaceTime. Delete that too.

Had the same issue, here's what fixed it:

1. Open the Contacts app

2. Select your contact card (the one for yourself). If you don't have a contact card for yourself, create one and then select it.

3. From the Card menu, select "Make this my card".

Siri should now reply correctly when asked "Who am I?"

This is the first thing I checked but it wasn't the issue for many of us here. in many of our cases it seems to be related to the other internet accounts, even if they are not enabled. Bug-.

For anyone looking for a solution and all of this does not work....

1. Disable Contacts all accounts for contacts under System Preferences: iCloud and in Internet Accounts

2. Delete the contents of ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/

3. Reenable Contacts in System Preferences: iCloud

This worked for me when nothing else worked.

tbertran, thank you for posting this question and the answer. I had the same problem, and your solution worked like magic. In my case, there were NO cards (other than mine) in my iCloud account. Still, the moment I signed out of iCloud on my Mac, Siri started recognizing "My Card" correctly, and stopped thinking I was my son.
