iPhone7 Bluetooth issue in the car

Yep, I think that most of us are in the same situation. Keep us updated regarding your case with Apple. I'm hoping they at least get back to you and acknowledge the issue.

I've had an iPhone since the 3G and this is the most dissatisfied I've ever been with one of their products. I've always considered Android to be highly inferior to Apple's products, but if I was able to return my iPhone 7 Plus, I'd be running to a Pixel XL right now.

I've been too busy to run more controlled tests, but here are two separate variables I noted driving yesterday and today:

Trip #1: While running a minimum of apps (I quit Facebook, Slack, Maps)...

• I did have stuttering just before, during and after a Slack notification would slide in.
• When I turned on Do Not Disturb, the stuttering stopped.

Trip #2: Maybe because someone mentioned it recently, but I did specifically notice 2 instances when audio started stuttering as I went from 1-3 dots of AT&T LTE to 4 dots.

P.S. I did not have any of these issues when I was using my old iPhone 6 (16GB, AT&T). I have the same car.

Appreciate your efforts to test but there's no way I'm trying any of that to get a basic feature like Bluetooth audio to work. They need to come out with an official fix or recall the phone.

That would seem to be the case. Everything else got deleted. My iPhone 7 works perfectly.

Got Bluetooth audio working with most recent update. Still testing to get handsfree phone working again. Phone was working preciously. 7 Plus on Verizon. Infiniti G37.

U mean the latest beta? Or the latest official release?

really, which update? did you do anything special to get it to work?

The latest is all I'll say. Read in between the lines. Setting it up as Bluetooth audio only was working, no stuttering. Once I got that handsfree phone involved issues with playback returned.

I take it Back. Still experiencing intermittent problems with Bluetooth audio.

Nobody is going to believe this but I'm sitting in my living room and my iPhone 7 is connected to my SantaFe in the drive way. Had problems before and can't tell you anymore cause I don't want it deleted. But I kid you not.

I noticed this only because it snowed here and was cleaning my car and driveway. I had left iPhone in the house and when I started it to get I've melted it connected to my phone. Went in and played some music went back out and it was playing in car.

Give it more time. Got mine working too and then problems resurfaced.

Hey all, I was able to put 10.2 to the test in my car (2015 Honda Civic Si) this past weekend where bluetooth audio skips and stutters have been an issue for me since day one with my AT&T 128GB iPhone 7 Plus.

So here's the verdict: with 10.2, the bluetooth audio skips and stutters still occur, but it seems to be with much less frequency. Sure, this still ***** but it's better than it was.

I have an iPhone 7 and this is happening with my phone too. This is my 3rd iPhone in a month - it has to be the OS, not the phone.

try resetting all settings in settings>general>reset> and re-connect that way
