iPhone7 - Home button - Freeze

Hi all,

I'm using a iphone 7 (black 128GB), iOS 10.0.1

I'm not able to reproduce it but it happened twice. The home button stops responding. I feel the taptic click but nothing responds. Also all the other "hardware" button dont respond. (the power button, mute of volume up /down) after a couple minutesI see all the actions I did ( pressing the home, mute vol up ect) and then the phone responds again.

(The screen keeps responding all the time when the other button don't)

I setup my iphone 7 as a new Iphone.

HI. There is one simple solution to this problem. It is not a software or hardware problem. Its the problem with the carrier. Just change your SIM card you are using and you ll find your iPhone working fine again.

I've had this exact same issue twice now. I have a 128gig 7+ as well, and all of the physical buttons have frozen up on two different occasions now since I first received my phone back on Nov 3.

Both times the touchscreen worked perfectly, but none of the buttons would function for a period of ~10 min or so. The latest time it occurred was last night, when I was using it while it was charging. As soon as I unplugged the charging cable, suddenly all of the buttons went back to normal functionality.

I'm going to try to return the phone back to Verizon, because I don't really forsee any fixes on the horizon. This is just way too much money to outlay for a product that's defective, and that has no potential fixes (or even any known causes) in sight.
