iPhone 7 Plus keeps freezing

I didn't transfer my stuff from my previous iPhone to my 7 plus and it still freezes. My home and lock button become completely unresponsive. This seems to be a very common issue with these already. What can we do to supplement this?

Same here. I was told not to transfer anything and set it up from scratch so it wouldn't freeze up so I didn't. Phone freezes constantly. Definitely my last iOS device. Might just sell it on eBay and get a cheap android phone. I'm fed up.

Well dearest community member here is what you can do. Since it is still within the first quarter of its production just call your carrier or service procvider and tell them that you want the warrant exchange they will charge you couple dollars and bring another phone for you. If you bought it from Apple Store take it back to them they're obliged to fix the error or exchange it under one year warranty without charges to you.

I am having the same problem. In fact, I had the same problem with my iPhone 6, took it to the Apple Store and they had no resolution other than upgrade. I upgraded to a new iPhone 7 and same problem. It happens in the native apps (Notes, Messages) as well as in Microsoft Word. Quite frustrating given this problem did not happen until the 2nd to last update. I have followed the suggestion numerous times of restoring to factory defaults and nothing. Same problem. I'm also having the same issue with my iPad and it all started at the same time. I would love to hear an answer from Apple other than restore to factory defaults which I have done numerous times. And Apple for some reason does not want to acknowledge this is a problem that has recently arisen with the iOS updates.

What did they do? Since knowone is replying here.

The arrogance and lack of customer care is a disgrace.

My wifes iPhone 7 has the exact same problem. Its gotten to a point that the iPhone that it is now becoming unisable. My daugthers iphone 7 has bad mic issues. I think its time to start accpeting better Android phones. We feel let dow. By Apple.

I have the same issue. Only seems to have started recently. I have had an iPhone 7 128Gb since early October. Using iMessage it happens constantly. Getting very frustrated.

Reset and still happens. My phone won't even work now. No GPS. Only texting and email. Home button keeps shutting the phone down. I never had this issue with my 6plus. Wish I had it back.

This happens to me daily, I have no idea how to make it stop. Even when I close out of all apps it will still freeze mid text.

I've had the same problems. I've had my phone about 3 weeks maybe a month. And it freezes up usually when in messages inbox screen. My home button and sleep button will not respond. I have to wait for it to unfreeze itself. The screen won't respond either. It's happened maybe three times. Actually just now hence me looking up this forum to see if anyone else had that problem as well. I just did a soft reset. I didn't know the changed the buttons for that until I read the comments on here. Anyone else have any solutions? I set up my phone as a new iPhone. Not from a restore. I had beta on my previous phone and it wouldn't let me restore from beta.

same issue! I just went through the painstaking process of resetting settings and going back into all settings to customize.

Apple : please don't let this happen again with the next iOS or iPhone release.

I have my 7 128gb since late Sept. early. I have had nothing but problems with this dang phone. It freezes constantly. It doesn't matter what I am doing. I can't get any help! I am tired of calling apple care.
