storage still calculating?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12)
I had booted into Recovery mode ( Command and R) on restart, it goes into the recovery screen, select disk utility, and then perform a scan on your default Disk( in most cases Macintosh HD) and perform a scan. After that I rebooted, and logged in n normally- reran the storage check you are having trouble with, and it finished in about 2 minutes. Hope that helps😉
I also had to delete an iTunes Extras file under the movies tab in iTunes. After removing this and deleting it from the trash, my mac was able to calculate the storage correctly. I'm not sure why, but it worked.
WAIT! DON'T DELETE ANYTHING!
I reset the PRAM by shutting my mac down, and turning it on while holding "Command, Option, P, R". Hold the keys until you hear the second startup noise, and now, it won't be calculating anymore.
Cheers.
Do you playing Clash Royal? If you do, and your nick name is nickobee?
