iPhone 7 GPS constantly changing in Maps

Is anyone having issues with GPS on the iPhone 7? In Maps, my "location" (i.e., blue dot) is jumping all around my current location. It doesn't seem to be getting a lock on my actual GPS location. I have noticed that it also affects other apps that use GPS.

Same here. Started when I got the 7, same day. I noticed it first in Pokémon Go, and then in all other apps using GPS. I talked to Apple Support several times to no avail, and finally visited the GB yesterday. They replaced my 7, and it was better only momentarily. I don't have this problem on my 6S which i haven't updated to iOS 10 so I have to assume it's an iOS 10 issue.

For reference I'm on Sprint, running iOS 10.0.2

Hi, I'm having the same problem on my IPhone 7, since the first day and it was shipped with iOS 10.0.

The blue dot is constantly moving, and hallo indicating accuracy is constantly changing, switching between big and small circle.

This happens in the navigation free mode.

And when I ask for a direction, the "blue man icon" indicating the position doesn't move as I move. It refresh the position only when I walk for about a minute or more.

THis is really disappointing, when you start a navigation I have now 50% chance to go in the wrong direction and notice it only few minutes later because it does not update.

I'm no more trusting the iPhone 7 for directions, now I'm using my old iPhone 5, or my wife's iPhone 6S plus.

I Also tested on iPhone 6, all iPhones with iOS 10, I have the problem only with the iPhone 7!

Under iOS 10.0.2 there is a little improvement but the problem is still there.

I am also having the same issue with Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze. GPS is way off. My old iPhone 6S with iOS 10 with very accurate and no issues at all, my wife's iPhone 6 with iOS 10 very accurate and no issues at all. Now iPhone 7 with iOS 10 and issues galore. Maps bouncing all over the place not updated while you are driving and not able to use maps at all on the iPhone 7. I did update to the latest beta 10.1 with no luck as the issues still remains. Hope fix in the works as this is very frustrating.

Same issue with me. iPhone 7 128GB Black on AT&T. Had my phone for about 12 days, and this only happened a few days ago. Blue dot keeps jumping between my location and another nearby location every 3-5 seconds. When Maps and Google Maps is zoomed in far enough, it makes the screen very jumpy. This is especially bad when I was using the navigation function. I was on Apple's Chat Support for 2 hours yesterday and they asked me to bring it in.

I too get "no signal" while using Waze on a Verizon iPhone 7 (128GB).

I've been working with a Level 2 AppleCare Support person for a few days now. He's been in touch with Apple Engineering who asked that I enable cellular logging on my phone (someone also reported this earlier) so they could see more detail. Logging has been enabled (they sent me a piece of software for that) and I will be in touch with him tomorrow to send in the logs. Strangely, once I enabled logging, the problem is much less frequent, although I do get one bar quite a bit. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not.

Apple is aware of the "no signal" issue (as is Verizon) but they don't have a solution yet. Once I hear back, I'll post the response.

Yes, I'm facing some issues:

- I bought the Phone 2 weeks ago;

- the first time I tried was on the run in Florence (corri la vita) using Runtastic;

- At the end of the run Runtastic said that i run for 12,9 km, meanwhile everybody said 11,46km (too much);

- In the picture below I compared the Iphon7 iOS10 with Iphone 5 with iOS9 (in the picture iOS5 is a mistake);

- With Iphone 7 it seems the Spider Man's phone;

- With Iphone 5 you could even understand if you are running on the sidewalk or not (the two lines show going and coming back run).

- I tried again (second time), it looks better, but still sometimes jumping on roofs.

I had a running also with Iphone5 iOS10, I saw that it was not precise as it was with the previous iOS9; I don't know if the issue is hardware or OS (iOS10 is really a good OS, but I found lots of strange things happening, sometimes reboot helps)

But this time its really a bug.

On both iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S Plus, I took the screenshot after a cold start of Apple Maps, and requesting a location refresh by pressing the location icon on the top right.

The location icon is not coloured blue just because I moved the map on both iPhones to see the difference of locations.

Try it, tap the location icon, wait for a refresh, and move the map, you'll notice that after a move of some pixels, the icon will change its state.
