How to delete subscribed calendars on iOS 10?

I can't find a way to delete subscribed calendars on iOS10, there's no delete option from the calendar app, nor from the Mail or Calendar settings and these calendars are not synced with my Mac so I can't delete them from there either. Does anybody know how to delete a subscribed calendar on iOs 10?

It's a year on and I'm using iOS 11. I find that "Settings > Calendar > Accounts" does not exist; "Settings > Calendar" contains nothing called "Accounts" or anything else concerned with managing subscriptions.

I need to get rid of a subscribed calendar called "JP Holidays" that displays Japanese holidays in English. "Settings > Calendar > Alternate Calendars" has to do with holidays for three other cultures or religions. "Settings > Calendar > Default Calendar" is also a dead end.

I've seen another solution that tells how to "leave" a calendar at icloud.com, but it differs from the actual situation as well. Subscribed calendars do not appear there, and clicking the radar icon does not bring up a "leave" option. Clicking "Edit" does let you delete a calendar. If only JP Holidays were there.

Any help will be much appreciated.

That only fixes those iCloud Calendars. If you look at the screen shot, prior to Apple creating calendar US Holidays you had to link to external calendar (see other). In my case I could turn it off, but for many folks they cannot turn off the calendar based on who they got it from so now they have tons of junk, they need to delete the "other calendar". Prior to iOS 10 you could delete stuff in the "other" category.

For some reason Apple put Birthdays in "other", this comes from the birthdates you add in you Apple Contacts App. So there are people that still want some things in an address book and not in a calendar (I know of one way in Nebraska). He does not want birthdays showing in calendar only in contacts, so he purchase a contacts app from independent vendor because there is no way for him to delete the "birthdays" from the "other" tab in iOS 10.

On Apple site there is only a way to delete subscribed calendars if you used you Mac to do the subscription. Looks like (i have this issue) if you added the calendar using your OS device you will not see it in iCloud even though iCloud still displays information from that calendar. Even if on your OS device you turn off the calendar the Mac still shows all your info.

On the iOS device Apple left out the DELETE feature in Calendar, so we users are up the creek.

As I discovered it can't be done on your iPhone. I had all sorts of calendar junk on my phone from previous lives that I just could not remove.

iCloud is the problem and the answer.

Connect all your devices first to the cloud and then check your PC.

On my Mac in the calendars app I was able to delete any calendar (even shared ones) and change the names of those I wanted to keep.

So simple and yet not obvious until you start looking outside of your phone.

Hope this helps.

I see your iCloud stuff not the Other stuff. Also note I have same version US not French (my screen shot this morning) Believe it not all companies, Samsung included, have different version of software and phone. For example before the iPhone 6S people in Trinidad & Tobago (TT) had to get phone from UK because TMobile UK uses a band that was not included by any company's Unlocked worldwide phones. All the phone in TT came from TMoblibe UK and the network only used that band.

If you took any phone to TT from US you could not get LTE only 3G, if you are lucky. It was a government deal since iPhones in TT sell for over $1,000US and TT government did not want there people getting cheeper phones from family in US.

That is the world of international deals.

My and many others in USA is our version of 10.3.2 does not allow and if I call Apple they will tell me "we are aware of it"
