Can't delete text message on iPhone

Before the latest update, I could go to a single text message and tap on the text, get "More" and then I could delete, copy or forward. That option has disappeared.

I cannot figure out how to do that anymore. I have searched Apple's support; I have read blogs by several major Tech online magazines; no one has addressed this issue.

I get texts from medium.com. I don't want to delete all of them at the same time. I want to delete the specific ones I don't want to read or the ones I have read.

How do I delete a single text message in the updated operating system for iPhone? I have iPhone 6.

Press the message hard. When you press hard, the rectangular bar with the icon choices appears above the message, and Copy, More appears below the message.

This is how I get my 6s with 10.3.2 to delete individual text messages.

Press hard on the message while, at the same time with the other thumb, press on the backspace key. Bar tabs pop up on bottom of screen. Press the very bottom one called "More". You will then get the familiar empty check mark circles and the message you were pressing is checked.

To delete just tap the trash can at bottom.

Tadda!
