iPhone iOS 10 keyboard issues

Since updating to iOS 10, I've found that when using safari the keyboard doesn't switch back to text when putting a comma in. It works fine in other apps messages, notes, emails etc. The stranger thing is that if I pick a number and press space it says on that view, but if I pick a number then comma it does switch back to letters. Does anyone else have this problem or managed to fix it? I think it's a bug and have reported it.

I Have this issue and another issue involving the screen not fallowing the cursor as I am typing. I've upgraded 4 iPhones (2 iPhone 7 and 2 iPhone 6s') and the probl are present on all devices. It's getting to be a near deal breaker for Apple for me. I want to love my iPhone, but this issue isn't even registered with Apple techs. When I went to the Genius Bar yesterday they basically told me that I will need to reset my phone as a new iPhone and see if that works. I tried that will all my iPhones and the problem persists.

IT was interesting because I contacted Apple support about this and was told that Apple has never had these features i.e. the screen fallowing the cursor while typing and the alpha keyboard switching back after you hit the space bar. I then was transferred to a supervisor that confirmed that these are in deed features. I finally took my iPhone to a Genius Bar and was told to reset it. Which I have, multiple times.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I did not have this problem with iOS 9. Even while typing this message on this board, the freakin screen isn't following my text as I type and after inserting a comma, I have to manually go back to text to continue typing. It wasn't like this before.

It always baffles my mind how these idiotic glitches are missed during testing of the new iOS. what the **** do they do there all day?!?! Aren't they suppose to be testing each and every part of the system to make sure it's working properly?!?! I mean, its September 2016 and I have to pause typing and move the screen over to continue seeing what in the **** im writing. Lol. Unbelievable. And all of this is coming from a loyal Apple user since iPhone 4.

Alet needs to fix this ASAP, freakin yesterday. This is pathetic and imbarassing.

Thats idiotic. The rest of the iPhone community probably haven't gotten on safari and haven't tried typing something beyond the typical "LOL" three letter replies to facebook. Once people start using the phone more, I'm sure more will notice this MAJOR issue and more reports will start coming in.

I Just tried several different sites. Same issues with the screen not following the text and the keyboard not going back to letters after inserting a comma. This is unacceptable for a $850 phone with the latest and greatest operating system. Apple is seriously slacking and it's unacceptable. They are too concerned with selling headphone adaptors to fully test the iOS before releasing it to the general public. Unbelievable. How do I got back to iOS 9??? At least it functioned properly while using the iPhone to do SIMPLE tasks like writing out this message and inserting a comma.

YYea I just ran into another wonderful bug. So I'm typing on my Hyundai forum and reached the bottom of the screen. The cursor continues on to type but the only way I can see what I'm typing is to pull the screen up and it acts like a rubber band and bounces back into place once I lift my finger. There's no way to actually keep the screen in place while typing. I've enabled screen rotaition but it doesn't work. Also, auto correct is not working either. If I misspell a word, the correct word pops up on the top of the keyboard but if I tap it, there's no guarantee it will replace the word.

THis is very annoying and makes me wish I hadn't upgraded. The thing is, it only hapens on the browsers. The keyboard goes back to the alphabet after punctuation fine in Notes, texting, etc. But the problem exists in Safari and Chrome, so it seems to have something to do with tha, or maybe Safari/Chrome have to update something? In any case, please fix this, someone! I type a lot via Safari on my phone.

AAnd what's infuriating is if you go to Reddit, people downplay the issue and defend apple for a very flawed OS. I'm curious to know if this still happens on other browsers like Dolphin. I'll try it out tomorrow. I'm just afraid we will be stuck with this problem for a very long time. I'm bummed out thinking about it because while it's not a crippling issue, it is an annoyance that hinders what should be a fun experience Making me nearly want to rethink my choice in phones.
