macOS Sierra problems with Screen Sharing

Hello,

After update to Sierra in both of my Macs, I can´t use Screen Sharing. I normally use my second computer using Screen Sharing, but now, each time that I connect I see the screen splitted but the active areas to use and press like Sleep, Restart, and Shut Down keep the original position. This mean that if I like Shut Down the remote computer, I need press just in the left of Sleep... some really strange.

I try connect from remote Android VNC and the screen look also splitted and with the same problem.

Anyone have the same problem or some idea of how to fix?
Thanks in advance!

If you get the black screen, you may just have a screen refresh problem. Remote into the system you want to control. You'll see the "lock" symbol for a moment and then a black screen. Hit the "Return" key on your keyboard. If you see a refreshed segment of your screen, move the mouse around. You'll see more of your screen. Now locate the login information and do just that, Log In.

At this point my system got really bad lag, and I had to plug a monitor and keyboard into my remote system. After that I logged in and the remote desktop started working fine.

I'm having the same problem, but only with an older MacMini. I've done the Sierra update on several newer systems and have no problems accessing them with remote access software, either Apple's or 3rd parties. The computer that gives me the problem was being used just as a VPN gateway. I decided to update it to Sierra and the new version of MacOS server and boom. The remote screen management issues started. As with everyone else, if I plug a monitor into it, it's fine. This is the machine having the problem. It's a core 2 Duo machine, not an i5 or i7 machine. I'm wondering if anyone else having the problem is running on an older machine like this?

I also have this question, using screen sharing on an imac retina with 5000 points.

All my clients (macs) have now SIERRA and on an application "QuickRes 4.3.3" which is needed e.g. on mac pro's, since Apple did not even think to provide a tool to change resolution (besides the very basic tool in system preferences, which does not address de-facto every possible resolution). Without QuickRes you still get a "mini" resolution through Screen Sharing and you must use your mac pro with that mini resolution ...

Using Yosemite QuickRes and ScreenSharing worked well together.

Now SIERRA: Split screen - just as depicted on the start of this incident.

My compliments APPLE - Wish you a further pleasant work for the next releases.

I run my MacMini's headless for almost 8 years now. The solution for older (DVI) MacMini's is https://soledadpenades.com/2009/02/10/mac-mini-as-a-headless-server/The models with the mini display ports work out of the box. For the newer aluminium unibody Mac Mini's I use https://www.amazon.com/CompuLab-fit-Headless-Display-Emulator/dp/B00FLZXGJ6/ref= pd_bxgy_147_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&r…

I'm not sure if using this on other Macs solves the problem.
