Remote access for my company relies on Java, as I sign into my remote desktop I am getting an internal MFC error out of Java. Worked fine before the OS upgrade. Any ideas ?

Bravo, I had already suggested this (temporary, I hope) solution. Even better if: you press Caps lock key (and "enter" to confirm "continue" on the error message) ,then, with caps lock key ON, you press several times (5-6-7-8) SHIFT (WITHOUT pressing "continue" every time). After that, press ENTER several times until it stops appearing che error message.
Ahhh - that extra detail is helpful! Works great! Thanks!
with the Update 10.12.1 the Problem is solved and all is working very well.
For those either not comfortable or able to upgrade to 10.2.1, Oracle is aware of the problem and has a fix. Within that page is description of the issue and a link for release 112 for jre8.

Yes this is right, everything is working wellnow. Thanks for the information.
Workaround (turning off Shift button) was succesful! Thank you!
I had the same error, but found on another thread to continuously click Continue. I did so (and lost count of how many times). Banner eventually loaded. I closed out to test whether I would have to do that every time. Banner opened without error. I haven't restarted the browser or restarted my iMac to test again.
