IOS 10 won't update my apps

Not only will my apps not auto update since iOS 10 but even when I try to manually update them, they are not queuing properly and I pretty much have to update them one at a time. Sometimes you have to click on the update button multiple times. I have signed in and out of iCloud and reset network settings, all with no improvement. I have a very strong Apple wifi 5gHz signal from a Time Capsule with Airport Express 802.11n boosters and a very stable 40 mbps VDSL/2 internet connection. This is the case with both my UK iPhone SE and my French iPhone 5S.

I have noticed in the last few days that if I leave apps in a queue and on wifi-only auto update for a couple of days, then they will autoupdate, just not straight away.

I have updated my payment information in iTunes AppStore in settings, credit card CVC code was missing, turned my iPhone off and on, and works again ;-)

Same for me. Literally tried everything. It's like they update when they feel like it.

First of all....I didn't know your apps could auto update. Learn something new every day.

I'm having the same issue. Usually I go into the App Store and manually update my apps. Either one by one or I hit Update All. Nothing is working. I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 10.1.1

Tried restarting my phone.

Made sure my wi fi connection was strong.

Tried signing out of the app store and back in along with restarting my phone.

Tried Settings > iTunes & App Stores and make sure that "Updates" is turned on. If it is, turn it off then back on after a few seconds.

I don't use iCloud.

I can hit Update All or Update for each single heart over and over, the spinning circle appears for a second and then it goes back to saying Update. This has been happening for about a month or two. It will be days before it lets me update any apps. Meanwhile the little red number on my folder goes up each day.

Any other suggestions??

I've also recently backed up my phone and synced with iTunes.

So I have been experiencing a somewhat similar issue. I do now use auto download for apps I click them manually. But on my iphone 6 with 10.1.1 before and iphone 7 plus with 10.1.1 I have to press update all multiple times to get the apps to download and there will still be a few stragglers the I have to update again. They do eventually update; they just take a while to do so.

I'm having the same issue, I talked to an apple support rep. They said it's an known issue, and they plan to fix it in an software update. I did notice, if i don't refresh the app store and show that a number of apps are pending that the apps do update at night. Hope this helps.

Your IP is blocked maybe you need to connect a VPN and get update 🙂

The apps are auto updating but keep "waiting" to finish downloading no matter how many times I try at the App Store, etc.

its really frustrating, i update them manually one by one, still it will give me error more than five times for one app, and have to hit the button retry, 😟 iOS 10 just *****
