Pop/Crack sound from speakers when dialing from iphone 7

Hi

I've had my iphone 7 for a few days, and I've noticed that when I call a number for the first time after I unlock the phone, there is a small "pop" sound from the speakers.. All further calls will not have this little "pop" sound until I lock and unlock the phone again.

More detailed I have found out that if I lock and then unlock the phone within 4 seconds or less, the small "pop" sound will not come, but if I wait 5 or more seconds before unlocking the phone the small "pop" sound will reappear for the first call I make.

The reason I became aware of this is probably because the phone started make loud cracks after all sounds it made when I had it connected to my bluetooth headset, and I had to do a soft reset from settings to make the sound normal again. When I tested the sound, I became aware of this little crack when dialing.

I'm affraid there is something wrong with my phone, but I also think that the 5 second "timer" from unlocking indicates that it is software related, either intended or not.

Im experiencing the same exact issue @ my iphone 7.

Sadly the workaround with the disable-enable "noise cancel" did not work. Though i didnt try that in conjuction with the "erase network settings".

Also i noticed, that if you 3D touch smt in the home screen, in a quiet environment, the earpiece-speaker enables and emits a low static sound as well which stops after ~3 sec's..every time

As suggested by the support guys, i tried resetting my phone, and setup as new, but did not work, in my case

Now my phone is in the service center and awaiting news from their side.

Sadly, my phone came back from the official Apple service center here in Greece, with no work done on it. They cannot identify the problem..

It's kinda tough to reproduce, since it only happens at the first call , after the phone is locked with the screen turned off. You can reproduce it again if you let it sit 1-2 mins, and then attempt a call.

Tried also the Noise cancellation trick, definitely lowers the popping sound but its definitely still there. When i try to "reset network settings" so i do not miss that feature, the problem comes back sadly.. so no lack here with that trick.

The support center already resetted my phone to the latest iOS which obviously didnt work. Also as i've written before, when i 3D touch, i can definetely hear the top earpiece firing-up, with a same popping sound, which fades away as well.

My wife's 7, doesnt make that sound as well as one of a colleague of mine.

I m kinda stuck here.. any other suggestion or help, will be greatly appreciated!

Cant conclude if it's a hardware or software issue. The problem hasn't been resolved sadly...with either of the solutions provided.

The service center cannot reproduce the issue, but its still there persisting in every call.. The "twitter-Apple" support guys have redirected me to the service center again, but i aint gonna go in all the fuss.. 1000Euros to the trash bin

I ll just swap the phone with my wife's 2nd workhorse, 6s which currently in 9.3iOS is noticable faster than the 7.. go figure!

I have accepted, that i bought a lemon which also has been affected by a peeling paint issue (matte black) in THE CASE without a single drop..

Apple quality products .. expensive lesson, learned though.
