Has any one come across having very light scratches on the screen? I just got my phone 3 days ago and it has several light scratches.. i have no idea how.. I was very careful with it. Im surprise how sensitive this screen is.. idk if maybe its a defect on the coating of the screen. very disappointed in it.

They also told me to get my screen replaced but I do not want them opening up my phone that is less than a week old.

Did you have to pay? Did you buy your phone through apple or a phone provider like Verizon?
Was told it's cosmetic and not covered under warranty from Apple and I had to pay to change it so wth I have to spend more more
No it i s not cosmetic it is a real problem and Apple should warn that the screen is easily scratched
I fully agree with you but them at was the great response I got from Apple care anyways...sad

I have a jet black iPhone 7 plus. Its had a glass screen protector since I got it. I recently took it off to put on a slimmer protector, and noticed it has a vertical scratch near the ear speaker.
You're not the only one facing the same problem and being told in the face with the same answer...lets cross our fingers and wait for a recall
Same here I have multiple light and deep scratches on my screen and marks on the back on the Matt black one and have a case on it. iPhone 6s never had marks and that went through more abuse
