I answered my own question as solved, but the problem returned, and I cannot un-mark it as solved. I needed to create this new unsolved discussion in order to attract the attention of Apple engineers.

For now... try another browser. And when you have time... try somethings.. like uninstall any extension (not work for me). Now I started to try without plug-ins... Next move, macOS Sierra clean reinstall

Go step by step and test.
1. Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Repair Disk.

3. Deselect Proxies if selected.
System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab
Unlock the lock if you have to.
Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if checkmarked.
Click "OK" then "Apply”.
Multiple crashes here, often more than three an hour. Sierra 10.12.1
I switched from Safari to Chrome and from Avira to Avast and so far (three days), the problem has not recurred.
Well, updated to Sierra 10.12.2 and.... the problem stills... going back to chrome.
Thank god I am not imagining this. have been on the phone to Apple care several times and no joys from them. They tell me my system is fine and no hardware issues. Struggling to use my 5K iMac 2015 to get my photos edited for clients!
They asked me to book the iMac into the local shop for looking over, but have not been able to get an appointment.
