I am having a weird issue in the latest release of iOS 10 (on an iPad) where I select a certain song in the stock Clocks app to play as an alarm, but it defaults to the "radar" sound. This does not happen with all songs but it happens with a few consistently. Anyone else experiencing this and any solutions? Thanks for your help!

I have the exact same problem, I have posted a similar thread about a month ago and never got a viable response other than the obvious. Will play any song in my library except the one song I want, it just defaults to the stock radar tone. The song is legally downloaded from itunes, downloaded to the device, and plays as normal in other ways. Did you ever find a solution? If so I would love to know what it is.
I am still having the same problem and don't have a solution. For the time being I am just using songs that do play as an alarm as a workaround. It is an annoying bug.
Did you ever contact Apple support for this issue? I have the same problem.
I tried but got frustrated with the lack of responsiveness. I was hoping the most recent update would address this, but it did not.
Same issue here as well. Upgraded to 10.2.1 yesterday and now songs won't play in my alarm. I tried everything that was described in earlier messages...
Same problem here too. So annoying and I've done all the "basics" to try to fix.
