iPhone 7 plus exterior buttons not working

I have had my iPhone 7+ for about 2 weeks now. Every once in a while all the exterior buttons stop working, volume up/down, power, home. The home button will still register and push and give the taptic feel and the touchID works. The phone itself still works and I can reply to texts and what not using notifications.

The past couple times it has done it, it has came out of it in ~4-5 minutes, however it has been about a half an hour and still nothing. I would restart my phone but the power button isn't working.

Has anyone seen this issue or know how to remedy it?

Happened to me too, almost on a daily basis. Very annoying to say the least.

That's exactly what's happened to me! It's happened three times now. The first two times it didn't respond to anything - home button did nothing, lock button did nothing. Finally after a couple hours it cycled through every button press and then behaved normally. The third time, after a couple hours I tried using the lock and volume down to reset and it responded finally.

My phone 7 plus sat all night, on the blank screen with the apple on it, and it never would come back on, finally used the power + volume down, and it worked. This is the first time this has happened and I've had the phone for a month now... hope this is not a reoccurring issue going forward with this VERY EXPENSIVE phone....

Hold down the home, power and lower volume button for 10s to reboot your device (IPhone 7) hope that helps!

I Had the same issue. Couldn't power it down because bottoms don't work.

Press Volumen Down and Power at the same time. That will power the phone down.

it worked with mine.

Thank you, this actually worked! Still annoyed by the bug (as I am sure you are too) but this allowed me to restart!

Yes, every sense the 11.0.3 upgrade, buttons don’t work and the phone freezes.
