Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have some strange vertical and horizontal lines when I enter in Time Machine.
I've checked for errors on the the graphic card but it's working fine.
Specs:
macOS Sierra 10.12 (16A320)
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS Sierra (10.12)
As promised, i have now received a reply from Apple with regards to this issue:-
" I received a response from our engineers to say that they are aware of this issue and that it is definitely software related. They are currently investigating and will have a fix for it soon. Please make sure you install any MacOS updates as they are released, if I hear of any other updates on the issue I will contact you."
Hopefully this will put users who have this problem minds at rest...

The problem with lines appearing in Time Machine persists on my Late 2016 MacBook Pro running 10.12.5.
Did you mean to say 10.12.4?
No. 10.12.5 was released today.

Has apple contacted you about this issue yet? It's been almost a year since this was last posted and I'm still having this issue.
Nothing yet. Maybe the High Sierra will fix this issue. Hopefully.
Don't bet on it. It is not on Apple's critical path based on my discussions.
No visible lines in Time Machine on High Sierra! Rejoice the world's problems have been addressed.
