People can't hear me when talking on the phone of my iPhone 7

I recently purchased the iPhone 7 and whenever I call someone or they call me in the middle of the conversation they are not able to hear me while I can still hear them; often resulting in them hanging up on me and having to call them back only for the same situation to happen all over again; sometimes after putting the phone on speaker then turning speaker off they'll hear me again but minutes later they can not hear me again.....please help

iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.2

I have this issue as well. I have AT&T.

Here's what I've done:

  1. Tested that this happens with and without noise cancelling enabled. With and without Wi-Fi. With and without a case on. With and without speakerphone. With and without headphones. Multiple geographic locations. Multiple callers. Toggling speakerphone doesn't fix the issue when it's happening. Removing headphones doesn't fix the issue when it's happening. Moving the phone around (to get better signal) maybe help, but I don't have enough data to prove this isn't coincidental. This issue started for me before the 10.0.3 release, basically within a week of purchasing the phone.
  2. Apple store reset my network settings and gave me a new SIM card, which I then went to AT&T to activate. Issue continued.
  3. Apple store gave me a new phone. Issue continued.
  4. Apple store told me not to backup from iCloud, so I reset my phone and set it up as a new phone (not using iTunes). Issue continued.
  5. Apple store told me to reset phone using iTunes and set up as new phone. Issue continued.
  6. Apple store told me to try disabling LTE voice (forces 4G voice). They suspect that my reception was poor (I rarely ever get more than 2 of 5 bars in general) and that the LTE signal was dropping mid-call. Call quality was poor when I swapped to 4G, so this is not a viable solution for me. I re-enabled LTE voice before I could do extensive testing. Issue continued.
  7. I enabled Wi-Fi calling to try something else, but it never actually enabled (I never saw the AT&T Wi-Fi on the top of my phone).
  8. I called Apple support and they think it's a problem with "AT&T provisioning", but had me generate logs for them to analyze. They also suggested Wi-Fi calling, but I told them it wasn't working. While on the phone with them, the issue happened, they couldn't hear me and I could hear them.
  9. AT&T Wi-Fi finally showed up while I was on Wi-Fi, days after enabling it. However, this functionality is intermittent and doesn't always enable when I'm on Wi-Fi.
  10. Followup call with Apple support, they downloaded my logs and are analyzing.
  11. I called back a week or so later, left a message, no response in 4 days. Will try again.
