New My Support Profile section

The new "redesigned" My Support Profile section stinks. I can only see my Macs. No iPhones, no Airport base stations, no iPods, etc. Anybody know how to access all of your registered devices in the "new and improved" disaster of a section?

Sorry for posting here, but here is no section to do this and no feedback category for this either.

Sometimes it seems like Apple is losing its ability to grasp and implement the most elegant solutions anymore....

I agree. They seem to have lost their UI mojo.

Could be sign of a bigger company and the consequence of the hardening of the arteries. I could imagine the the motto "Keep it simple" being reduced to getting rid of things. In the past, I noticed that Apple products had a lot fewer options than the competition, but seemed to have all the options that I needed. Now, I am running across more and more instances of apple eliminating useful things or making re-design for the sake of redesign or copying the Windows way.

In a numbers driven environment, it's easy to count the number of options and keep below some number, but it's hard to figure out what are the options. It's hard to justify intuitive thought.

Apple seems to be missing ... if it aren't broke don't fix it.

I know that, but it wasn't what I was referring to. Those numbers and devices have to do with 2 factor authentication.

I was referring to the phone numbers that you could designate trusted so when you called Apple these numbers were pre cleared and Apple had an easy way of verifying your identity.

Ah, not a feature I was aware of. I obviously missed it on my previous visits to review my products.

This new support profile site is not good.

I doesn't have all the products that were listed on it before. It only lists devices and doesn't list routers or other devices.

It lists items that shouldn't be in my profile, like my parent's Macs that I happen to have an account on.

It doesn't list the dates of when the support coverage expires or did expire. It doesn't let you add new devices, it doesn't let you change devices.

It lists devices as having an invalid serial number.

When you click on a product to view full coverage information, you are redirected to another site where you have to enter a captcha code and then the information provided is basically no more useful.

When you want to view your cases and repairs, it doesn't list any of yours, you have to remember and put in the case number, if you still have it. What's the point of that? If you do put one in, all historical repairs seem to be gone.

It doesn't allow you to change the phone numbers you might call on for express access.

Basically this new profile page is useless and not helpful or informative.

It's junk.
