I've updated iTunes to 12.5.3 on macOS Sierra this morning, and now it crashes constantly. If I try to update or add to the iCloud Music Library, the application simply closes completely. When I reopen, the library is not updated. I tried restarting and reinstalling, without success. Anybody else has this problem? Is it a general issue with the new update?

I have the same issue, iTunes 12.5.3.16.
I was adding songs and chaning artwork to other old songs.
iTunes started to crash.
I start again, and I see new songs duplicated but not uploaded on iCloud.
I start to sync iCloud music library and iTunes crashes when upload songs.
I don't know what to do. I logged of and log in again, but with no good result.
Perhaps the upcoming release of 10.12.2 public beta will solve the problem. I just enrolled to the beta program.

I confirm. Since I updated iTunes to version 12.5.3, I have the same problem. As soon as I try to load a song on the cloud, iTunes crashes

I don't have any old iTunes libraries on my iTunes folder. Can I just install 12.5.2 and keep the current iTunes Library.itl?
I am having the same problem. Same OS same build. It started after adding audio files to the library. If I open iTunes and do nothing it still crashes at around 1 minute after opening.
edit: As suggested I disabled Cloud. This seems to have resolved my issue, but obviously creates another.

I'm having the same issue, but I'm on Windows 10 x64. iTunes crashes within 1 to 2 minutes every time I try to use it.

You might be able to re-install iTunesSetup.exe (64-bit) from this download link I've found on Apple's servers. There's also the iTunesSetup.exe (32-bit) installer if anyone needs it for Windows.

Thanks for your solution yesterday. Deleting iTunes and reinstalling 12.5.2 worked (and deleting the .itl and .xml files). The only thing now is my library shows all my music in the cloud rather than on this machine. But at least I can add new music. BTW, someone said Apple pulled the update today.
I though I had this problem fixed on Windows 10. The almost immediate crashes stopped, but 30 minutes in it crashed again. To me, it appears to be related to iCloud syncing. That was the only thing happening at the time.
Not an answer, but if anyone from apple is reading, it did this to me before the sierra update. I did the update hoping that it would fix this. But no luck.
The crashes are happening to me with iTunes 12.5.2 and 12.5.3 when syncing to iCloud on Windows 10. Signing out of iTunes (thus preventing any iCloud syncing) prevents the crashes from happening.
