Same issue for me when outputting a movie from FCP to DVD using default settings; all black areas covered with green noise. I initially thought it might have been because I did a multicam using a 5d Mark III via hdmi to a Ninja and a XA10 AVCHD, but the noise is like looking through a dirty lens over all of the footage, including generator sections and titles. Odd

Same problem. Noisy files, especially in black areas. Unusable.
Tried with 2 types of sources files, with different settings for export...

I'm experiencing the same issue, however I'm exporting to MPEG 2 for DVD. Videos are very grainy. I've ruled out my DVDs, DVD Studio Pro, and my computer. The only thing left is Compressor 4.3. I tried running the same file thru 4.2 and its fine.

I ended up needing this footage on dvd this weekend, so I picked up Toast Titanium and burned the .mov to dvd via Toast and it worked without issue. I rather prefer the flow and settings through Compressor or FCP on it's own, so I hope Apple can get a fix uploaded sooner than later.

I also have "the noise... like looking through a dirty lens over all of the footage" issue in Compressor 4.3 for DVD exports. I have helping complaining clients already in this issue.

Does anyone know how to manually revert to Compressor 4.2.2? This would be a great help!

I acquired a Compressor 4.2.2 copy via the internet. Created a DVD and there's NO noise in the same production, just like it should be.

I won't be using 4.3 until they make another update specifically addressed to this issue.

The only legal way is through a Time Machine backup. Otherwise you would have to do it the illegal way via pirating.

Currently I have Compressor 4.2.2 as "Compressor 2" and compress a DVD, then close that and open Compressor 4.2 to burn a Blu-Ray. It's a tedious process, but works.

Same issue here.

I also downloaded the latest version and noticed the video grain problem is gone.
