iTunes Error 8392

Getting this error message daily: "Could not purchase "APPNAME". An unknown error occurred (8392)

If I keep hitting the "update all apps" button it will eventually download, but it's very frustrating. I've signed out and back into Store, shut-down and restarted Mac (2016 iMac - all updates have been installed), but can't get rid of this error.

Not sure if related to this error, but when syncing both iPad (Air 2) and iPhone (6) (both fully updated to latest software), to iMac/iTunes that all apps do not get updated on iPhone/iPad, I have to do this on the device itself, so lots of duplicated updated activities. I even set up the iPad as new, but the same problem persists

Any ideas?

I found that turning off "Simultaneous Downloads" had a positive effect on the error, I managed to download all updates at once without any more errors showing up.

Almost sound like a bandwidth issue but I know that is not the case on my end, maybe iTunes somehow is causing bottleneck effect, therefore causing this error which may be a form of timeout error.

This problem seems to centre around the question of how many apps are being updated. Any more than the three allowed in my simultaneous update and the very next one elicits the 8392 error. If the software testers had checked that the update mechanism will allow the stacking of app updates and have them re-entrant then I believe this problem would go away. Also, allowing more simultaneous updates would be a good idea. This has been seen on a supposed professional machine. I have a Mac Pro tower and my older 2.1 tower is of a much better quality which I can sadly no-longer update. Progress is a mean thing!

I've had this problem for a couple years, at first suspecting it was Apple's fault and would eventually be fixed in a later iTunes version, then believing it was a problem with my in-house DNS server or something to that effect.

I've recently removed a lot of variables, however, and find the problem still happens; it seems very clear to me that it is an Apple/iTunes issue, and likely a server issue.

I suggest everyone visit https://bugreport.apple.com/ and report this.

As everybody is noticing: The problem occurs irregularly. Must have to see something with network load and failing handshakes. Interestingly, error 8932 never occurs when demanding an iOS update. Then all servers and networks are working perfectly, though technically (when doing it from a desktop mac) it is a similar process. Is there a second class server structure for external apps?
