Swollen battery Apple Watch

Whilst Apple were not any help on the phone or on line, thankfully when I took the watch instore, the unit was replaced without any problems.

I agree there's absolutely no help on the phone. I am asked to pay $298.80 and I do not live close to any store.

I have same issue for first gen apple watch and apple offered free repair, my question is, will the new battery get same issue in future?

hi, if you haven't sorted your watch out yet I have just been told by the online Helpdesk the policy is definitely 3 years

I went to NorthPark mall Apple in Dallas today and they are replacing it for me at no cost. She acted surprised to see it but I've read so much I know it is very common with this watch.

was it under warranty period.?

Thanks. My screen just popped off and I see the battery is swollen like the rivers in Houston as I write this on August 28th, 2017.

I took mine in to an Apple Store with this same issue this past Saturday, and picked it up today. They not only replaced my watch, but I received a Series 1 watch and not a First Generation!

Well my watch screen just come out and try to charge me almost 250.00 and he don’t now anything about the warranty. This still active or no?

Did they honor it?

Yes!! On the apple store guy on the phone didn’t now anything about his words was “its not extended warranty on apple watches period”
