Keyboard upside down on iPAD

Same problem for me. Started after I upgraded to iOS 10. Apple is not about making great products. Apple is about making great amounts of cash. Will be switching the whole family to Android phones and tablets once contracts start to run out.

Same on my iPad post ios10.

I also often get the unlock screen on incorrect rotation, reset is temporary fix.

Did you double check you don't have the orientation lock enabled in Control Center?

If it's red, tap it so it's gray (off)

I've had the same issue for at least 6 months. But your steps to replicate the upside keyboard do not replicate it for me.

For me, it appears to happen only after my iPad Pro has been on standby for a period of time (1 hour?), and then I use the downward swipe to access Siri Suggestions (and the search bar).

When the Keyboard appears upside down, the only fix (quickest) is to rotate the device to match the orientation of the keyboard, Swipe downward again (to access Siri Suggestions), press homebutton, then re-orient the device to the position you want. This re-orients the keyboard to the new position.

Very annoying though.

I have the exact same issue as well. My iPad Pro 9.7" has had this issue since I upgraded to iOS 10. Apple please let us know when this has been fixed. Thanks a lot

Having the same problem here on my iPad pro. The keyboard is right side up in safari and other apps, but when you try to search it's upside down. So frustrating.

I have the same problem. I've seen it on an iPad Air 1, a iPad 2017, and an iPad Pro 2017, which I set up as a new iPad and didn't restore from backup. Seems to be an issue with the iOS 10

Me too. Very annoying especially because multiple people are reporting it and it can be replicated. Seems to me it should not be that hard to fix.

Anyone there Apple? This has just started happening on my iPad mini 4. Fed up with bells and whistles in publicity and basics not being sorted.
