2016 macbook pro 15" with touch bar poor battery life

My 13" MBP with TouchBar is averaging 5.5 hrs on a full charge😠

Those of you who have it available should update to macOS 10.12.3 which contains a fix aimed specifically at this problem.

MacOS 10.12.3 has fixed all my problems. I have a 13 inch touchbar with intel gfx. Getting a solid 10 hours even with occasional Logic Pro x use!

Would be nice if i could update to the latest to test :/ not showing up as an option just yet.

The update helped the battery life of my 15 inch mid 2015, much better now!! well over 10 hours!!

Your computer is defective. Contact Apple for a repair or replacement.

update to my own response:

after unplugging the HDMI adapter and mouse the battery life increased to 10hours.

does anyone knows if it normal that a simple HDMI adapter is consuming power?

What stable you talking about? Battery has no longer that 4.5 Hours of life!!! What do you call stable.Be clear

I'm having the same issues you describe, except on the 13" tbMBP. I can't get more than 5 hours out of the machine doing general office / web dev tasks.

Wow! I am lucky to get 3 hours on a full charge while working. This is terrible. Far less than my old MacBook. Is there an explanation for this?

I have the same issue.

My battery lasts from 3 to 5 hours.

My battery was manufactured in feb-25

My MBP was manufactured in march

So, I guess the problem was not solved with the update 10.12.4

Thank you very much ! This really helped me. FruitJuice is a very good app along withBattery Guru. But I discourage to use the Turbo Boost switcher which can harm you machine.
