Do all IOS apps have access to your phone number by default?

Hi. I've been searching the net for hours and I just can't find an answer to this...

I know that IOS apps can request permissions, such as having access to your contacts. But what about your own personal phone number? Can all apps see that by default? I've never seen a request for that, unless it's part of allowing them access to your contacts?

I would just prefer not to share my phone number with any of the apps I use, so I'm hoping that's possible.

You can control this access by going to setting then click on the app then you see what the app has control to do.

I'm pretty sure you cannot see that in the settings (though I know you can see other app permissions there). But yes, please explain in more detail. Thanks.
