MacBook Pro 2016 touch bar randomly crashes

I have 10.12.3 installed now. I turned Energy Saver "Power Nap" back on. Testing...

I totally feel your pain on this. Then as a follow up kick in the butt is when we get to read rumors about the 2017 version that is supposed to be coming.

Make sure your macOS is updated to the latest release. If you still have the problem after that then get it returned right away or you will be stuck in the same mess as all of us.

Doesn't matter if an external display is connected.

After MBP went into sleep modus the MBP crashes 95%. FileVault is off. It's a 15' MBP with all in it, the most expensive....

Same problem here, my mbp 15" crashes about once a week, seems to be randomly.

Would be very nice to see this fixed by Apple, it's quite annoying :/

Actually, to be clear, my problems with the replacement 2016 15" MBP started only after updating to 10.12.4.

I don't think is a devices thing, it also happens to a lot of people without any external device.

it doesn't crash anymore after never using the moshi ethernet/usb connector. the mbp is crashing with that connector in sleeping modus.

Just got same error opening the lid on my brand new rMBP 15". Just responding here in case Apple monitor this thread so they know there is still an issue.

What does an MCA error panic on boot up look like?

Again, you have to look at the system report and check for the MCA error. If you aren't seeing that, you have a different issue than the one described by the original poster.

I am seeing that. It says:
