I enjoy getting headline updates on the News app on my Apple Watch Series 2, but when I click save story for later, it doesn't get saved anywhere. I don't see any of the saved stories on the saved for later tab on the News app on the iPhone.
Anyone have any ideas??

I am not aware of a solution for this issue. I suggest that you log it with Apple. Options for doing so include:

I was having the same issue. By clicking the 'history' tab next to the 'saved' tab shows every 'save for later' from my watch.
Since updating both my iPhone 7 and Apple watch 2 to the latest OS version this seems to be working correctly.

I agree, it doesn't seem like the best user experience to have to unlock the phone in order to use a feature on the watch.
