I just got the new macbook pro (2016) with touch bar. One issue I just noticed is that the down and up arrow keys sometimes do not respond to light clicks. If I press the buttons lightly enough (just at the threshold of the key "clicking" down), it doesn't register a press. Has anyone else had this issue, and is it something that can be fixed?

Yea, my up arrow, doesn't work with light taps. It only works when I pressssss it down. It makes coding and navigating spreadsheets a pain.
same here on my macbook pro 13" no touch bar, happen with up & down arrow key, tap always not register.
I had exactly the same problem. My down key would only register with a forceful press. Turning the laptop upside down and performing a short but vigerious bongo solo on it fixed things.
Same problem MBP 13". Both up and down arrow keys have no click, and sometimes do not register with my normal typing. I will definitely take it in for repair before my 1 year warranty is up.
Any solution? My up and down keys are getting worse on 13" MBP with touch bar. Up key is working only if pressed too hard. Unbelievable.

Apple never admits that they have problem. In Poland we don't have Apple Store (apart from online). But any how works in authoservice tell you that Apple knows about it
I have sent my Macbook to the Apple Assistance, they checked the keyboard and changed all "top case". Now is working correctly.
