iCal will not send if location is added to event

I've noticed in the last 2 weeks or so that people haven't responded (accept, decline or maybe) to my ical invites. I just realized they haven't been getting them. I tried some trouble shooting and found that all of the invites I sent with no location specified sent correctly, but if an event had the location/address added it did not go at all. It's on my calendar, but it shows no one has responded and in fact no one received the invites.

Help! I use this feature all the time and the location is a key component.

Thanks

PS I've created these invites from my iMac, iPad and iPhone.

In addition to the location, my invites are not received if I put anything in the Notes field. By removing the notes and resending it to the Invitee it is received. In addition, if I add notes or location after the invite is accepted, the updates are NOT received and only show up in my own calendar entry.

Thank everyone for trying. All additional information that you can get to Apple support with regard to this problem will help us all, I'm sure. I don't generally put emoji's in my calendar so I have no frame of reference as to whether it works now. But I'm sure it's also a clue that would help the Apple engineers to fix the problem. He said that they hadn't had enough people report these types of calendar issues in order to create a specific bulletin for the support people. He keeps reiterating that everyone with the problem needs to report it.

I Reported bug today (UK). The guru I spoke to was not aware that it was an issue. Got me to try restarting both iPads - still not working. Then i reset the location in settings. Still no joy. I now need to erase and restore both machines. If that doesn't work I am to call back and then they'll have to log it as a bug.... I told them that there were several others her with the same problem, but I still need to wipe each machine. I am looking forwards to the time that takes!

I think the apple.com/feedback is the most efficient way to report this, unless you are a developer, in which case you have a dedicated portal with which to report bugs.

Apple support is another option, but I personally find it frustrating performing device-level troubleshooting when we're already WAY past that and KNOW that the issue is NOT device specific.

I had a conversation in apple support , they suggested me a method :

Click on go to go folder & type ~/Library > calendar > temporary files ( empty the contents of this folder ) , remove Email.cache.plist into the trash . Restart & empty the trash , cross check with your apple care advisors in your country . What do they suggest .

Here is what you can do an expect your invitation to be sent. [ . . . ] create an event with text only in the location field (no link to Apple maps)

In my tests using the calendar on icloud.com, I have found exceptions. Specifically, an event with text that doesn't look like an address will get sent. However, invites with plain text locations that take the form

176 North Canon Drive Beverly Hills, CA United States 90210

do not get sent. (This is what the text looks like if you copy and paste from a real, Maps-generated address, as presented in the browser on icloud.com.)

iCal will not send if location is added to event
