iCal will not send if location is added to event

I've noticed in the last 2 weeks or so that people haven't responded (accept, decline or maybe) to my ical invites. I just realized they haven't been getting them. I tried some trouble shooting and found that all of the invites I sent with no location specified sent correctly, but if an event had the location/address added it did not go at all. It's on my calendar, but it shows no one has responded and in fact no one received the invites.

Help! I use this feature all the time and the location is a key component.

PS I've created these invites from my iMac, iPad and iPhone.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.1.1

This thread started on December 10th but the OP said he had problems a couple of weeks before that. That is around the time that Apple said that it was going to do something about spam going to iCal:

Apologies if this has been asked before. Is everyone who has this problem running iOS 10.2? Or are there different iOS versions in play?

In my case, I am running 10.2.

How do you submit a bug report to the Calendar Engineering Team? My wife and I seem to have the same issue. We are using iPhone 7 and 7+ with ios 10.2

Has anyone heard of a resolution for this? Has Apple admitted a bug that needs fixing? This is a very serious issue.

It seemed yesterday for me that clicking on the "accept" link in the email did nothing, but opening the attachment did work. If you get a chance it might be worth trying both approaches.

I am not getting them from a mac.com and I am icloud.com.
