Unable to update to Apple Watch OS 3.1.1

Same issue.

To reiterate:

It is not currently possible to complete the update to watchOS 3.1.1, as Apple has pulled back the update.

Apple issued the following statement:

"A very small number of Apple Watch customers experienced an issue while installing watchOS 3.1.1, so as a precaution we've pulled back the software update. Any customers impacted should contact AppleCare, but no action is required if the update installed successfully. We are working on a fix for an upcoming software update."

To delete any downloaded watchOS update file:

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Usage > Software Update - delete the download.

Thanks for the answer. This should be listed as the "solved" post in this thread. Now I know to wait, and how to remove the 3.1.1 installer.

See the previous replies in this thread - it is no longer possible to install watchOS 3.1.1.

Did you read through the whole thread? Apple has pulled the update, you are unable to do the update until they fix it and release it again.

I Deleted just like the link said then went to redownload and it simply said watch is up to date. Thanks for the help.

Make sure you are on IOS 10, on your iPhone. You cannot download it without this.

Yeah I've had the same problem.. it's been quite awhile and still no fix..... come apple.
