Home Movies & TV App on iPad Pro

HI...

I have Home Movies that show up in iTunes, and when I have my iPad Pro connected they show up on the iPad. However when the iPad is disconnected and I go into the TV App, nothing shows. I can't even select Home Movies. It just says Libarary.

I Don't have that problem with my iPhone 6s, just my iPad Pro

Any suggestions would be appreciated

thanks

This is a very well known issue with the new, but NOT improved iOS TV App.

Many users have been dealing with this for well over two months, now.

Please submit your feedback about this TV App issue.

The more people that can submit feedback to Apple, the quicker we can get Apple to push out a fix for what has become a very inconvenient bug.

Good Luck!

I loaded training videos on my iPad with the specific intent on watching them while flying. I had exactly the same experience, when opening TV, all I got was a blank screen. Tried everything I could think of including turning off the pad and back on. Nothing. This is one of the reasons I carry a pad around so I can work with it offline.

I checked the suggestions and none of them applies here. I correctly had them in the right folder on the MacPro. When I got home and connected to the internet, the TV app worked fine and I could find the video's I placed here. This issue is that the TV app would not work without an internet connection. This is a problem when flying.

The interesting thing about this is when I got home and had an internet access, I was able to open TV, go to Home Movies and there they were. After thinking about this, I set the iPad to Airplane Mode and was curious to see what it would do, opened TV and was able to get to my Home Movies. Now its true that when I closed the app it was set to Home Movies. Go figure.
