Getting prohibited sign at OS startup help...???

Hi I am getting a prohibitied(like the no smoking sign) sign instead of an apple at the when I first start up my mac...Anyone have this problem...?

I had that same problem so far once. But again I own this MacPro only for four days.

Also another issue if it is, iStat pro Fans stats are:
Hard Drive/... 0rpm
Exhaust 599rpm
Power Supply 599rpm
CPU Fan 0rpm

Kinda scary!
