I am trying to use the "small cap" feature in the titles of tables, but every time they convert to small caps, they automatically go back to the original font. I'm trying to use pm as a small cap (PM) and it reverts back to pm. Is there a reason that the "small cap" feature doesn't work in table titles?
What version of Pages? What Font?
I have just tried this with Helvetica font in Pages 6.05 and it works.
Possibly your font doesn't support small caps.

This replacement is not listed in the Keyboard preferences, so that is not the issue.
So you are ACTUALLY using Numbers and not Pages?

I use the default when I insert a table. Here is a link to show what I have done:

Using a mixed case table name, and selecting only pm to apply the small caps setting from the Advanced Options menu does work.
It continually reverts back for me...can you detail your steps? I have a video that I can post if that would help showing how it reverts back to regular case every time.

If the problem is a sticky Paragraph Style try a Small Caps Character Style to override it.
