Searching in safari- how to hide bookmarks and history

Hello,

Any time I am searching something through adress bar in Safari, an annoying grey bar is popping out with search recommendations in bookmarks and history. I think it was absent before I updated MacOs to 10.12.2 few days ago, but I'm not sure. Is there any way to turn it off? because it blocks part of my screen, and I need to make 1 additional click to make it disappear. Any Ideas how to turn it off?

MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12.2), Safari

Oh , when I use bing it doesn't happen. But I don't really like bing like a search engine. Is there any way to fix this for google?

You don't need any software to view this, it opens in safari.

Thanks, but the problem is not with spotlight search, but with Google search through Safari address bar. But ive tried your method, thats not it.

if it is private browsing , open safari & its preferences > change safari opens from new private window to new window .

It happens in normal browsing, but what is interesting: it doesn't happen in private browsing.
