Can't get Electrum for BitCoin installed

I've been trying to get Electrum, bitcoin wallet installed. It tells me it it's not an approved developer. Even when I go to Security and approve it it still won't install it.

My only option is to let it install anything. Can I do that for just one application?

When I hunt on the web it looks like people are going and adding source code or something. I'm not at all comfortable doing that (aka clueless).

I've always been able to just check the box in security that says install anyway and get what I want installed but this won't let me.

Anyone get this installed? Thanks.

Sorry, I have no idea. The right click option is to bypass Gatekeeper to install unsigned apps. Beyond that, I couldn't tell you how Electrum is supposed to work.

Is this going to happen every time I have to reboot or do something?

It shouldn't. Once installed, the OS is supposed to remember you okayed an unsigned app.

That's where I got it from. I'll toy around with it. It'll be a good way to test their CS.

I'm not sure what this has to do with my problem. I know where the file is. I want to know why it "unstalled" itself when I had to restart my computer.

I have managed to download it, but it doesn't say on my computer. I have to download it every time I want to use it. Any suggestions please?

Don't worry....I just dragged and dropped into the applications folder and that seems to have worked.
