apple remote desktop 3.9 client access denied

Since upgrade to apple remote desktop, access to all clients is denied (os sierra pre touch bar throughout). What remedies should be considered?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12.3)

You're right. I thought I had the answer, but after 2 hours, the problem returned.

Yes that is exactly my experience. removing from All computers and re-adding removed "Access-Denied" status but it is still Screen Sharing only and no privileges for Send UNIX etc.

Same exact issue here - tried all of the options posted, but it keeps giving "not authorized" on anything other than screen sharing
