At least once per day, my iPhone 6 randomly starts playing music even when no music apps are active. This is very disruptive. No headphones are attached, but I do have an iWatch that communicates with the iPhone. I believe the culprit is Pandora. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Me too - started yesterday. Don't have a watch or Pandora so no idea why it's suddenly started doing it.
This started happening to me so I tried unplugging my EarPods more often. I found out the music starts when the EarPods are plugged in and when they are taken out my phone stays sil

Just out of curiosity, I deleted Pandora from my iWatch, but kept the app on my iPhone. Since doing that about two weeks ago, I have not experienced the problem of music starting up randomly that I described in my post of Feb. 26. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that somehow that has eliminated the problem, but it is annoying if that is the case. Clearly, it should not be happening in the first place.
I have the same problem. I was at a concert in a small venue. During a particularly quiet moment, pandora went off. Was I listening to something calm or easy listening? No. I was listening to the comedian Lewis Black. It started screaming explitives at full volume. It was like my iPhone 7 has Tourette's syndrome. You can imagine the looks I got. I really hope they figure this out soon.
My iPhone 7 plus does this all the time. I have pandora, but the music that is playing doesn't come from my pandora app. It's music that I have in the Apple Music app. When I double click the home button to try and force close the app it doesn't even show up. I can force close every app and the music will still be playing.
Same issue on my iPhone 6. I do not have anything else linked to it, except an ear piece. It usually happens after a phone call. Pandora is not on -- sometimes Audible is-- sometimes not. Lots of people seem to be having this problem, I do not see any answers.
I removed the pandora app from my apple watch several weeks ago. This has resolved the problem for me.

I also deleted Pandora from my Apple watch a few weeks ago, and I have not had the problem since.
I was experiencing this in a similar situation sometimes multiple times a day. Since I have deleted the Pandora Apple Watch app, it has no longer occurred.
Does the Blaze allow you to control Music?
I removed Pandora from my Apple Watch and it has since stopped. Not sure though because it used to start Music as well and that is still on the Apple Watch.

Yes the blaze does allow control of music, so guessing it dies have something to do with this
