Stop xfinity

I am not an xfinity customer, but whenever I'm near one of their routers my iPhone 6 tries to join that network. In doing so it interrupts my ability to connect to the internet, and I have to turn off wifi in order for cellular to work. Is there a way to ignore xfinity or keep it off my phone?

I see the xfinity network frequently, but my phone never connects to it. Are you a Comcast subscriber?

I chose to 'forget' the Xfinity network on my phone, and even though I am a Comcast subscriber I never connect to their hotspots. It seems that forgetting the network works.
