I haven't used my Apple Pencil for a month or so. When I connected it it showed a percentage of 3% and as I charged it the battery just decreased to 0
Stilll showing it's charging after 30 min I moved it to the cable to charge and disconnected the device
now that I come back After 1 hour the pen could not connect to ipad as I tried to insert it into the iPad
The Bluetooth cannot pick it up
the pen is new never used
Yup. Haven’t used my Pencil for a little while. 12.9” iPad Pro. Worked fine before ios 11 update. Not showing up in notifications view, not charging. Tried new tip, same story. Very unhappy.

Apple is horrible now with all of their products comino out so fast. What a pity. Have the same issue....upgraded ipad to 11.3 and now pencil is stuck on 3 Percent charge. Dont know what to do.

Not even able to pair with the pencil. List of devices, for pairing, is empty (pencil is connected to the iPad).
Apple offers battery replacement for the Apple Pencil for $29, so if your genius is trying to charge you $80-$90 for a replacement for what is clearly a battery issue, I would show them this page:

Hi, it can’t be the battery as I have had it in charge for an hour and it is brand new it is less than a month old. On my iPad Pro it says that it is connected but yet it doesn’t work when I use it.
