How to display the current CPU speed?

It is easy, if the computer takes too long to do things it is TOO SLOW for you, if not it is FAST ENOUGH for you. What other tools do you need that are even faintly relevant.

and that is what Csound1 is trying to tell you all the time. Learn the difference between speed and cycles, before you go on dramming as some others here.

Actually the point I am trying to make is that it is irrelevant what the speed is if the computer is too slow, or too fast (unbelievable as that would be).

I agree. And your point was well stated and understandable. It makes no difference. It's either slow or it isn't.

Someone needs to look up CPU throttling or dynamic frequency scaling.

I'll try to explain this for you. Frequency = Cycles Per Second. Therefore, a CPU running less cycles per second is running at a lower frequency. See?
