MacOS 10.12.4 Graphic Glitches

Hey Guys,

I'm having an random Graphical Glitches on my Macbook early 2015 13" connected to my Dell external display.

You can see it here: https://youtu.be/7b37OmwBE-4

I was able to recreate this issue on this app. But it is happening on all applications from time to time (mostly after fast graphic changes).

I run the Mac Diagnostic and it turned out I have no issues with my mac. I tried the Dell screen with other computers and there is no issue.

I also saw this issue on the following video of someone esle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA1lvm7I_EQ

One or 2 times my full screen was full of colors mixed, after reconnecting the hdmi cable it was fixed again.

If anyone has also experience with this issue or an fix or any idea how to test more.

Please let me know.

I barrowed a friends late 2013 15 inch MacBook Pro for a week and it is not affected by these graphics issues, however another friends 2015 MacBook Pro is as well as my 2015 13 inch air. Has anyone tried a complete from scratch restore, not restoring from a TM backup? any if, any joy with that? I'm giving it a consideration. the only reason I haven't yet is because where Im at for the next several months for a work gig the best I can manage is a 12mbps DSL connection so it will take several days to re-download all my apps. But if others have had luck with this as a fix ill bite the bullet and give it a shot.

I'm having the EXACT same results. If I have my MacBook Air 13" (2015ish) open, and then close the lid, it will send to my external display as expected -- but I'll periodically get artifacts exactly like TomasZlin's pictures -- mostly around the menu bar.

However, if I restart my Mac with the lid still closed, upon restart it has no such artifacts. So my guess is it is some sort of glitch during the handover from the MacBook screen > external display.

SOOOOO glad it's not just me though.

So since the start of this thread, and more importantly since I asked everyone reading this to include the model of Mac that's giving them trouble, I've gone back and counted all the ones listed as "having problems". Each and every one of them is a 2015 model. Others have chimed in to say something about their 2013, 2014 or other older computers that aren't exhibiting the issues on the same 10.12.4 software, while only their 2015 models are. This is just a tad worrysome to me, and I hope this isn't another one of those hardware issues like back and 2011-12 happening all over again.

Hey all, just to join in on this, I too have exactly the same issue and I'm a Graphic Designer who's currently experiencing GPU restarts and Kernel Panics on an hourly basis thanks to this bug which seems to be a core part of Sierra 10.12.4! I've filed a Bug Report on the Apple Developer portal but they haven't got back to me or anything!

Also, when this first issue started about a month ago I went down the route of taking my MacBook Pro 13" Early 2015 model back to Apple and they replaced the logic board yet the issues are still here so I can safely say it's software related. I hope Apple are aware of this issue and it's fixed in 10.12.5 or else I won't be a happy customer. As a designer who uses their mac for at least 8 hours everyday, I can't be having GPU restarts and losing work on the hour every hour.
