Universal Clipboard not working

Hello,

The matter in question involves a MacBook Pro Late 2012, and an iPhone 7 Plus. I'm running the newest updates. I have checked and Apple should still support Universal Clipboard on the MacBook Pro Late 2012. I have checked to make sure handoff is turned on for both devices, and checked to see if the feature works for either Mac to iPhone and vice versa, and neither way works. Also, apps like Messages from the iPhone show up in the dock on the Mac with handoff. Does anyone know any troubleshooting I should try or any possible known solutions? Thank you.

It does not work for me either, though all other aspects of iCloud and Handoff work perfectly and consistently.

[ SOLVED ]

I've done everything , but nothing happened.

So I've restarted my iPhone 6s and the Universal Clipboard worked like a charm ! 🙂

For me it helped to restart iPhone and turn Bluetooth & Wifi Off and back On...

I got it to work by connecting my iPhone to my Mac via the Bluetooth menu in System Preferences. I could even remove the connection afterwards and it continued to function.

I have a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro and iPhone 7 Plus and recently experienced this issue.

I rebooted my iPhone with no change.
I rebooted my MacBook and the issue was resolved.

I came here with the same issue. Using iOS 11 and High Sierra..

Restarted my iPhone and BAM! now it's working 😮

Among other efforts, turning off Avast Web Shield seems to have fixed it!!

Yep that did it for me too. Why is a restart the last thing I thought of? Must be 'cos it's a Mac not a PC

I have rebooted both my MBP and my iPhone X many times - no change and universal clipboard still doesn't work.
